The Abode Programs office oversees the operation of our diverse offerings
Located in historic Shaker buildings on over 400 acres of natural beauty, the Abode is a Residential Spiritual Community, conference and retreat center, as well as a school of esoteric study. Located at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, as a host facility for retreats and group events we provide a hall for gatherings of up to one hundred participants, and a secluded campground conference center capable of hosting up to two hundred and fifty guests in tents, hermitage huts and cabins. Groups who rent our mountain facilities may elect for total self-structuring concerning use of the facility or when renting our main campus avail themselves of our experienced staff of cooks and hosts meeting spaces, dining facilities, and guest rooms with single and shared accommodations available for up to 50 people.
Open meadows, springs, woodlands, and organically farmed fields surround the dwellings and meetings spaces with sacred presence. Gardens invite guests to wander or rest in the midst of the beauty of every season. Trails and roads provide access to more than 400 acres of field and forest. Indoor spaces reflect the outer sacredness creating an atmosphere conducive to contemplation, reflection, and discovery.

Sixteen Private Huts populate the mountain top. They are simple, rustic retreat huts, not holiday cabins offering modern amenities. |

Private Huts at the Mountain Conference Center do not have electricity or running water. With some, there are nearby outhouse facilities for convenience. |

Two buildings, similar to each other, comprise the Shared Cabins, a total of twenty rooms each housing two people. They are located within easy walking distance of the dining and meeting facilities. |
