The Healing Arts Center at the Abode of the Message is made up of a group of independent practitioners who offer a wide range of healing modalities to meet individual needs using a variety of modern and ancient healing and bodywork techniques in an atmosphere of safety and serenity.

 Included in these are Licensed Massage Therapists who offer a variety of Massage styles and techniques along with Craniosacral Therapy.  We also have Certified practitioners who offer Somatic Body centered therapies including Reiki and Raphaelite healing techniques , Healing and Transformation and Sound healing, and   a licensed, Board Certified Acupuncturist who offers Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical and Esoteric Acupuncture as well as Homeopathy

Tara Hayat Adler-Ruh

     Tara trained as an Acupuncture Physician at a Medical College in the United States that offered the same curriculum given to the Medical Doctors in China.  She brings to her practice over 25 years in the Health Care Field, and in the last 13 years has worked both in Private Practice and in Hospitals, Rehabilitation Centers, and Integrated Medical Clinics.  Tara uses Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to treat a wide range of illness and disease.
     Tara is certified in Advanced Acupuncture Oncology from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Integrated Cancer Center in NYC, and works with Oriental Medicine as an adjunct therapy along side Western Modalities in the treatment of Cancer
     She combines the ancient techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine with our modern scientific medical advances to treat pain.
     Her undergraduate studies focused on Psychology and Human Development, and the emotional aspects of wellness and disease and successfully treats depression, panic and anxiety disorders, bi-polar, ADHD and ADD and social phobias.
     Tara applies the benefits of Oriental Medicine to the process of detoxifying the body from PBT’s (Persistent Bioaccumulative Toxins), which can adversely affect immune and endocrine function.
     Advanced training in Gynecology – treats all GYN and Fertility disorders.
     Member of the Holistic Pediatric Association and treats many common childhood disorders

Gayatri Hull

     Gayatri Hull has been working as a healer for over 20 years. She is a certified practitioner in the Raphaelite Healing Work TM and in One-to-One Raphaelite processing. She also underwent a long term course of study of hands-on healing and transformation taught by Bob Moore, a renowned European healer. She has studied resonance therapy and offers sound healing sessions as well as healing and self healing through the use of the voice.
     Gayatri is a certified retreat guide in the Sufi Order and the Sufi Healing Order and teaches retreat and healing arts and leads both individual and group healing and spiritual retreats. A healing session before, during or after an individual or group retreat can greatly support the retreat process.

     Healing and Transformation sessions with Gayatri offer clients a unique opportunity to experience a transforming healing presence through the use of healing touch, presence, light and attunement. Gayatri’s approach has been described by clients as “deeply relaxing, recharging, energizing, vitalizing, nurturing, restoring, and healing.” This work helps reestablish one’s “natural rhythm and tone”.
