Suluk AcademySuluk Academy

Suluk Academy was founded in 2002 by Pir Zia Inayat-Khan, the spiritual leader of the Sufi Order International. The Academy's guiding vision derives from the spiritual legacy of Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882-1927), the mystical philosopher and musician who gave definitive modern expression to the timeless and universal wisdom of Sufism.

The Temple of the ElementsThe Temple of the Elements

The Temple of the Elements is located at the site formerly occupied by the Sanctuary, high above the Lebanon Valley on the Abode’s mountain camp site. The original structure was built there in the1970s under the guidance of Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan as a sacred place in nature for prayer, meditation, and remembrance. When it was destroyed by fire in 2003, plans were begun to build anew.

Organic FarmingOrganic Farming

Since the Abode's inception in 1975, we have cultivated our organic farm and gardens. Our meals feature fresh vegetables and herbs grown and harvested on this land, and beautiful flowers adorn the grounds and grace our tables. In addition to supplying our residents and guests with healthy and nourishing food, we offer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares to families and individuals living in the area.
